Solarmatrix is a passionate and innovative solar power company specialising in the engineering of commercial large scale solar energy systems and in the wholesale of high quality photovoltaic components. It was founded in 2007 by two very experienced professionals in this industry.
For over 13 years Solarmatrix engineers have been designing turnkey solar power systems in Europe, South East Asia, the Middle East and Australia.
Our broad engineering expertise is manifested in numerous solar energy systems for railway signalling and communication plants, for large businesses and government bodies as well as in sophisticated hybrid power stations for Aboriginal communities, pastoral farms and eco resorts.

Being able to specialise in larger projects and to establish niche distributors throughout Australia and the region in general, has enabled Solarmatrix to establish a reputation for a ‘hands on’, fast and efficient response times, so critical in major projects.
The company has agreements and links with several major manufacturing companies, established to ensure that only the highest specification products are offered in our design solutions.
We currently distribute and wholesale solar products from leading edge manufacturers such as Schott Solar, Bosch Solar, SolarWorld, Lorentz, SMA Solar Technology AG, KACO new energy, Schletter Mounting Systems and Huber & Suhner (Radox).
Managing Director, Mr. Durmus Yildiz, who has many years experience in the renewable energy industry in Germany, holds an Honours Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and is currently completing a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. Since October 2011 he also serves on the board of the Sustainable Energy Association Australia (SEA).
Additionally, Durmus is an Accredited System Designer & Installer for Hybrid Power Systems in Australia and over the years has designed and installed some very prestigious installations here in Australia and overseas.
